A Family Fun Guide to Halloween Events, Pumpkin Patches & Fall Festivals

Starting in September, with the Plano Balloon Festival: 11+ Best Tips, these fun family-friendly Fall Festivals are an annual staple in the Plano and North Dallas area.

This time of year, our spooky season, is so much fun. The end of October cannot come soon enough, so we are excited to share our favorite Halloween-themed events, including Trunk ‘n’ Treat events which often include a costume contest and face painting.

Most trunk or treat events are free to attend and some host food trucks.

If it rains, we also love Indoor Alternatives for Halloween Events too.

No need to panic. If the weather doesn’t cooperate and it’s wet, our youngest kids can still enjoy Halloween fun on October 31st.

Often there are family-friendly events or an indoor Halloween party.
