This is North Texas so the weather really is anyone’s guess, including the professionals!
We can’t let a little rain or cold weather spoil our Halloween fun. Here are some ideas for you:
GO TRICK OR TREATING INDOORS
Sometimes Local Malls offer trick or treating near me today whether rain or shine, along with area libraries and other places.
So hit them up and go trick or treating indoors!
Boo Bash Trick or Treating
At Firewheel Town Center, 245 Cedar Sage Dr, Garland, TX
Join them for an evening of ghoulish activities, family fun, and more all in a safe controlled environment.
From 5pm-7pm in the Park
Trick or Treat at Participating Retailers from 5pm-7pm (While Supplies Last)
Enjoy the Disney Junior Playdate featuring Vampirina and her friends! (Disney Live Character Appearances are not a part of this event)…more being added soon
Take a ride around the park in the Kiddie Express in the park!

Mall-O-Ween at Music City Mall
Head over to the Music City Mall in Lewisville from 5pm – 7pm on October 31st for some trick of treat fun! FREE! Bring your little pumpkin to trick or treat at participating retailers from 5-7pm
- Take a selfie with your favorite characters, popcorn, candy, cotton candy and so much Halloween fun.

Safari Run’s Spooktacular
October 31, 9.30 – 3pm
Join them for Open Play along with carnival games, giveaways, sack and relay races and a Halloween costume contest!

Head to Schimelpfenig Library:
Pumpkin book, pumpkin costumes, pumpkin candy bins… it’s time for Big Pumpkin Halloween! They’ll have TWO showings of their Big Pumpkin Halloween puppet show and Halloween stories, both at Schimelpfenig Library on Wednesday, October 31 – once at 6.30pm and the second at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged as we’ll trick-or-treat throughout the library!
Schimelpfenig Library does a Halloween story time and puppet show. Wednesday at 10:30. Kids can come dresses in costumes. This is a family favorite for my kids. Free but get there early before it fills up.
Solstic Senior Living at Plano, 1940 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano 75023
Kids welcome to stop by to Trick or Treat on October 29 from 6.30 – 7.30 at Solstice. Be sure to wear a costume for the contest!
October 29 6pm – 8pm, 1909 Preston Rd, Plano
Chick-or-Treat! Come join them at their first COSTUME PARTY!
They’ll have games, candy & a costume contest for kids. No tricks, just treats!
Trick or Treating in Historic Downtown McKinney
Time: 5-7 p.m. Free to the public
The local business owners will be handing out candy to all Trick or Treaters!
