Gyms with Childcare

Childcare at your gym is a necessity!

Who’s with me on this?

Well, at least it is a necessity to all the mommies out there, and we at Plano Moms have heard you asking for help in this regard.

We are always looking out for concerns and questions that people have in common, and the past few months, some of you have asked about gyms with childcare.

Most of us can personally vouch for that at some point in our life as a mother, we have come to the realization that we want to improve our fitness and health, but we don’t know what to do.

Gym with Childcare

You may have had the baby and you may have lost most of the baby weight but after a few months have passed by, the scale seems to be telling us that we have gained all the baby weight back. Then the dilemma, how are we supposed to get back in shape when we’ve got an infant to take care of, 24/7?

Fortunately, there are lots of new at-home workout technologies such as live streaming classes, interactive workout equipment, and fitness apps, that can help you get started but they don’t give you a certified personal trainer in real life with you.

Looking for a great new Gym or Fitness Studio?

However, most of us feel the need to get out (being out of the house can make a big difference to our mental well-being) and do some group exercise classes, even if it’s just to just interact with other adults.

And, that’s when a gym with childcare or a childcare center is worth investigating.

In this article, we make it just a bit easier for you.

Here is a list below that will definitely help you and hopefully, you will find the right place for you and your family. All the very best on your fitness journey!

BOUTIQUE GYMS

The popularity of boutique gyms has been on the rise; these are gyms that focused on group exercises or only one-on-one training and usually specialize on one or two particular areas of fitness (e.g. pilates, barre, cycle, yoga). They are exclusive and tend to be smaller compared to gym clubs.  A boutique gym will commonly have a higher price tag, for example, $25 and up per class. So why choose one of these expensive gyms?

Some of the reasons, which I personally agree with are:

•A small class which tends to give you a more personalized and/or customized training program.  Also because the classes are smaller, the instructor can observe you more closely and help correct your technique if needed.

•You choose the gym based on the exercise you want and it is precisely the exercise you love or would like to master.

•It is fun to be working out with people who like the same workout as you do which makes it easier to make new friends. And, more often, it is the same people who show up every time. Here are a few boutique gyms in the area that allows you to take your kids at the gym (granting they behave while you are working out) and has a special relationship with a kid’s club nearby.

Thanks for explaining how a gym with a child care center is great for parents who want to interact with other adults while working out. This way the kids get to play with other kids too so it makes it even easier on the parents. I think parents should put their kids' priorities first so having someone who can watch them, while they do things like going to the gym, is a necessity.
