Your Petits Chefs will have lot of fun learning the basics of cooking: Scaling, mixing, kneading, baking, stirring, piping, and the best part, TASTING!

The camps are half day, everyday during school breaks. Kids will prepare savory and sweet dishes. The menu changes every day. They will leave with their own creations and feel very proud of themselves.

And yes! Kids will make Baguettes, Profiteroles, crepes and quiches.

Dates: November 25th-27th (3 days)

Fall Discovery Camp is the place to be for kids who love to get hands-on with science! Your kids will have a blast this Thanksgiving Break exploring the and decoding mysteries from long ago!  Trained scientists who use the resources of our Museum to bring science to life in exciting, interactive ways that are sure to inspire your child!

o    PK— Dig It | Explore the caves of South Africa as you search for ancient artifacts under the guise as a cave explorer! Dig, craft and hunt for lost pottery, fossils and more in this action-packed journey to uncover mysteries from long ago. There are two sessions for this camp – AM camp is 9am-noon, and PM camp is 1-4pm.

o    K-4— Explorers: Mysteries Decoded | Come explore the unknown! Embark on an unforgettable quest and adventure as you excavate for lost fossils and artifacts in an archaeological dig site. Use ancient maps and tools to help you decode a series of puzzles and piece together the clues to solve long lost mysteries.

Their creativity day camps are perfect for engaging young students in both the visual and performing arts. Older students can dive deeper into the theatre field of choice in Plano with specialty workshops in Acting and Tech Theatre. Or join the cast of our holiday break production in Fairview: Dystopia! The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death!

Creativity Camps (Grades K-5)

Check out their morning, afternoon, and full-day camps for K-5th grade during school district off-days. These day camps are themed around popular children’s stories and promote learning through creativity. Each day, students will actively bring a different story to life through visual and performing arts. Visual arts activities include painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage, and printing. Performing arts activities include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, movement, and pantomime.

Winter Break Production (Grades 5-12)

Dystopia! The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death – Trapped against their will in a dystopian future, a group of teens must battle against emotionally sensitive guards, limited budgets, and the trigger-happy Gamemaster to be proclaimed the winner. When the odds are this absurdly bleak, it seems certain that only the main character will make it out alive — but first the contestants must decide who the main character is. A bloodthirsty send-up of reality TV and young adult fiction.

Winter Discovery Camp: December 30-31 & January 2-3 (4 days)

Activate their inner “maker”! Your child will learn practical STEM skills all while building and programing robots in fun, hands-on activities.

PK— Wee Bots | Get your gears moving! What is a robot and what does it do? Learn how robots move, sense, think and act. Program your own robot to overcome twisty obstacles and crafty challenges.

K-4— Robots, Robots, Robots | What makes a robot work? Discover how gears, electricity, and simple machines work to make robots move and manipulate objects. Get hands-on experience with robots such as Cubelets, Sphero and Ozobots. Test out different types of sensors and experiment with programming platforms while challenging your classmates to races or robot matches.

Adventure Kids Playcare
