North Texas Performing Arts or NTPA is formerly known as Plano Children’s Theatre, provides classes to children ages 3 to 18 to help them discover and develop their passion for the arts.
Founded in 1991, NTPA has been part of many families in the neighboring areas. They provide a wide range of productions and workshops, and training courses that cater to each students’ needs.
NTPA – Plano is partly funded by the City of Plano.
My son just did a week-long camp at North Texas Performing Arts at Willow Bend mall. They have a 50% coupon off right now making the class $100. My 5 year old had a great time and they performed a play for the parents the last day of class.

When I was younger I was a part of Plano Children’s Theater and The Art Centre Theater. I can say that Plano Children’s Theater always wanted parental help, and was not very fun as a kid. Art Centre Theater was a WAYYY better experience for me and had a greater community.
