Head to Van Zandt county, 25 minutes southeast of Canton.
Pick your own blueberries and blackberries in June and July. Families can head out into the fields and fill their buckets with organically grown blueberries and blackberries. Blueberries cost $2.95 per pound; blackberries run $3 per pound.
They also have a really cute county store inside with homemade pies with blueberries and blackberries from the farm!
O’Neal Berry Farm

How does a farm get added to the list. We have a pick-your-own garden in Lucas. Currently we have cherry tomatoes, slicer tomatoes, several colors of bell peppers (including purple!), sweet peppers and hot peppers. We’ll be open Saturday 7am until noon. $2/person gate fee. Whatever veggies picked are $4/pound. Fieldsong Farm, Lucas, TX.
