A Full List of You-Pick Farms

Texas is home to so many you pick farms! It’s a great thing to do when we have nice weather in the spring and early summer. Here’s a list of some places around Texas that have everything from fruits to pecans. Some are a drive so it would be a full day of traveling and picking.

Make sure you call ahead and check online for each place as they might close for weather or be out of season.

You Pick Farms Close to Dallas

Pecan Creek Strawberry Farm A pick your own strawberry farm located in Pilot Point. Opening day was April 4th.

Greer Farm:  1444 Co Rd 1125, Daingerfield, TX 75638 Blackberries start May 30th. This looks like a great place to stay overnight too!

Blueberry Hill Farm: 10268 FM 314, We are 5 miles from Brownsboro, TX in Edom, TX, Brownsboro, TX 75756 Pick your own blueberries and blackberries in June and July. They also have a really cute county store inside!

Henrietta Creek Orchard Pick your own apples in Roanoke, TX. 14255 Old Denton Rd, Roanoke, TX 76262 (817) 439-3202

Swanzy’s backyard Garden:  A personal backyard garden in the area that allows others to come and pick for a fee.

Sunnyvale Pecan Orchard: 137 Rebecca Rd, Sunnyvale, TX 75182 This orchard offering pick-your-own pecans is open seasonally, by appointment only. (972) 226-1251

Windy Creek Vineyards:  3295 Union Hill Rd, Sanger, TX 76266 (940) 458-7234 They are not currently open but keep checking!

Blasé Farms: 1232 E Fork Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087 Pick your own blueberries (972) 772-3645 (end of May through the beginning of July)

Hidden Honey Farm: 7241 FM1387, Waxahachie, TX 75167 (817) 900-3276 Strawberries, eggs, and honey

Larken Farms Orchard: 3653 Greathouse Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75167 A variety of fresh produce starting in April through July.

Jenkins Farms: 269 CR 1600, Ravenna, TX, 75476 903-583-2220 blackberries, plums, and peaches (June and July)

Ham Orchards: 11939 Co Rd 309, Terrell, TX 75161 (972) 524-2028 Fresh peaches since 1979! Check back in Mid-May for the best time. They also have a complete farm market store.

R&C Dairy & Farmstead: 40 Crossroads Rd, Collinsville, TX 76233 Seasonal fruits and veggies, grass-fed beef, eggs, goat milk, and other bakery items.

Good Earth Organics: 8571 FM272, Celeste, TX 75423 903) 496-2070 A family farm that is just north of McKinney that offers fresh organic produce and grass-fed beef.

Echo Springs Blueberry Farm 7235 Farm to Market 607 N, Murchison, TX 75778 (903) 852-5277 Mid May is know for the best season. They have the reputation for Texas’ finest Blueberries!

Storm Farm 3010 S Bowen Rd, Arlington, TX 76016 (817) 469-8704 Pick your own strawberries!

Walkers Berries: 2933 FM 274, Ravenna, TX 75476  (903) 583-2907 Picking begins June 1st! Check their Facebook page for more updates.

Wildberry Farm– all types of berries and they are a very family-friendly place: 905 Crawford Rd, Sadler, TX 76264  (903) 564-5206 A real working farm!

Majestic Farms: 433 Hill County Road 1306, Whitney, TX 76692 (817) 648-2821 Peaches, plums, pears, and more plus a full market that opens April 28th! Call for updates.

Wolfe Pen Creek Farm: 4850 County Rd 3139, Lone Oak, TX 75453 Seasonal fruit and a farmers market

Aunt Sue’s Barn: 13700 N County Line Rd, Ponder, TX 76259 (214) 546-7416 Strawberries and raspberries.

Cartermere Farms: 8436 Co Rd 134, Celina, TX 75009 (214) 707-8029 Organic eggs, chicken, lamb, beef, and produce.

Texas Strawberryville Farm Urban farm in Poteet, TX.

Pure Land Organic Farm: 7505 Co Rd 201, McKinney, TX 75071 (469) 795-8585 Pick your own fresh fruits and veggies right out of the soil! Starting in April through July depending on the produce.
