North Texas performing arts theater

NTPA – North Texas Performing Arts

Theatre camps are a great way for children to explore literature in a fun and creative way. Kids will transform into a superhero, a princess, or their favorite storybook character as they bring popular stories to life on stage at North Texas Performing Arts exciting theatre summer programs! With summer learning opportunities for ages 5 to 18, there’s a spot for everyone to learn from our professional directors, actors, and singers who have worked everywhere from Broadway to L.A.

Week-long camps are available in half-day and full-day options for ages 5-14 and two-week productions are available for all ages, K-12! Each one-week camp has a different theme based on popular children’s stories like Descendants, Frozen, and Harry Potter. There are a dozen options for two-week productions, and there’s truly something for all ages, from Frozen Kids to Legally Blonde JR to Band Geeks!

Plus, it’s the perfect time to try out a theatre program at NTPA, because new students get 50% off their first camp or production! Programs are available at NTPA’s Plano, Fairview, Frisco and Dallas locations all summer long.

Dallas International School

The DIS Summer Enrichment Camp is a 6-week program open to all and designed to provide campers with the opportunity to explore a wide range of activities in a safe and caring environment. Our camp is designed to give campers ages 3 to 17 experiential learning activities and a chance to explore a wide range of interests in a safe and caring environment.

Lone Star Circus

Lone Star Circus Summer Camp

Kids, here’s your chance to run away with the circus. Discover the thrill of becoming a circus star! It is a great way to make new friends! We inspire campers to discover their unique sense of creative expression by providing opportunities to reach new potentials and expand skills. Lone Star Circus camps are a day-camp experience designed to introduce children at any level of physical development and skill the excitement of circus arts including aerial silks, aerial ring, trapeze, juggling, contortion, rolla bola and balancing.​

The camp is open to kids ages 6-15, and is available regardless of circus skillset. The fee is $400 per child. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-registered basis. Spot is guaranteed once full payment has been received.​

We will have staff on-site 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after from drop off and pick up. Camp is held from 9am-4pm.​

We will provide snacks and a hot lunch. Please bring a water bottle! We will require a lot of water to be drank during the camp.

Genesis Children’s Theatre

This is a program that puts the lives of the students above all else. We walk through challenges WITH our students and are never too busy to have conversations about life off the stage.

This philosophy coupled with exciting programming and a staff with unequaled experience has allowed Genesis to grow to its current reach of over 400 families and earned Genesis the title of “Best Children’s Theatre in Plano” for three years in a row.

Genesis Childrens Theatre only single casts shows. Tuition at Genesis Childrens Theatre includes all costumes.  There is not a requirement to purchase a block of tickets to performances.

Beginner camp Annie Kids  (Grades 1 – 6)

Intermediate Musical  – Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. (Grades 4 – 8)

Melodrama  – Title TBA (Grades 6-12)

A Midsummer Night’s Dream-Advanced students (Grades 7-12)
