How to find a good Spring Break Camp?

Do you have camps and fun activities lined up for your kids? You probably are thinking “How do I find the best Spring Break camp near me?”

Kids in Public Schools (in Plano) will be out of school for March 11th-15th. The good news is that we have found some excellent Spring Break camps for the School Break to get your kids excited about.

North Texas Performing Arts - locations in Plano and Frisco

Themed around popular children’s stories and promote learning through creativity. Each day, students will actively bring a different story to life through visual and performing arts. Visual arts activities include painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage, and printing. Performing arts activities include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, movement, and pantomime.

AM Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – $40.00

PM Session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – $50.00

Full Day: 9:00AM-5:00PM (Students need to bring a lunch) $80.00


Frisco/McKinney March 11 - 14.

Dallas and Coppell: March 11 - 15 

Register for multiple or single days.

Hours: 7am - 6.30pm

Cost: $25 per day at Frisco; $30 per day in Dallas and Coppell. Visits scheduled from Perot Museum "Super Heros Science" & Cassidy, Therapy Dog.


Ages 5- 13, Tumbling, Gymnastics, Trampoline, Cheerleading, Games, Arts n Crafts and more

Hours: 9 am - 2pm

Extended Hours: 8am drop off and 5pm pick up.

Cost: $40 per day. $5 for early drop and $15 for late pick up.


Primrose School of Plano at Preston Meadow

Ages 5- 11, STEAM, Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Reading, Weekly Field Trips, Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks included.

Full Day: 6:30AM-6:30PM $100 registration; $235 per week


Primrose School of Frisco West

Ages 5- 11, STEAM, Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Reading, Weekly Field Trips, Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks included.

Full Day: 6:30AM-6:30PM $150 registration; $245 per week


Powerkids Sports and Fitness

March 11 - 15 April 19, April 22 - 26

Age 3-5 and 6-12
Half day 9-2: $45 Full week $175
Full day 9-4: $65 Full week $275

PowerCamp is more than just sports skills, tumbling and strength. Each day is still loaded with action, obstacle courses, and physical challenges, but we will also explore the most important components of being a PowerKid, such as kindness, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect for others and pride within ourselves.


PSA Camps, Plano

A popular choice for drop in half day options for all types of sports, martial arts and arts and crafts. Check their website for options.

STEM Camp (grades 1-4) & Makerspace Mania Camp (grades 5-8). Register for multiple or single days.

Hours: 9am - 4pm

Cost: $75/member; $85/non-member per day

Keep the kiddos busy and entertained during their week off from school! Spring break camp is open to ages 3-8 (must be potty trained) and includes playtime, crafts & fun games. Kids meals are available for $4.99.

Hours:

Morning 9am - 12pm $150

Afternoon 1pm - 4pm $150

All day: 9am - 4pm $190

Single day (AM or PM): $45

Single Day: Full day: $65

Late pick up available for $15 per hour.

Each day of camp consists of new activities for everyone. Crafts, Games, Science, Slime, Baking, and more..Each camp includes a hot lunch. Lunch is served from 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Hours: 9am-1pm or 12pm-4pm; Full Day option 9am - 4pm

Cost: $35 for the first child and $20 for each additional sibling for Half Day. Full day is $60 for first child and $35 for additional sibling. Before and after care is available at the normal hourly rate.

Ages 6-16, develop soccer skills with the instruction of FC Dallas coaches. They offer 3 different camps and levels to choose from.

Hours: 9am - 12pm

Cost: $160 for the week

Ages 3 and up. Campers enjoy outstanding gymnastic training, tumbling, trampoline, games, arts and crafts and other activities. For Full Day Campers, lunch bring your own lunch, but campers are provided a drink and snack.

Hours:

9am - 12 noon (half day)

Full day 9am - 2pm

Cost: $40 per half day, $5 extra for walk-ins

$50 per day, $5 extra for walk-ins

Wild Adventures. Grades: PreK, K-1 2-3 and 4-5

Kids get to explore the Zoo learning science concepts, anatomy, geology and biology and how exactly they feed over 2000 animals. 

Hours: 9am - 4pm. Early drop off 8am at $5 per child/day and late pick up from 4-6pm at $10 per child/day

Cost: $45 per member/$50 non-member per day.
