We have several school holidays coming up including spring break! Sometimes keeping kids occupied and busy over a break can be so challenging. Here are some great ideas for day trips and fun things to do when kids are on a break from school.
Great Wolf Lodge This is so much fun for the whole family but can be pricey. My best advice is to look on Groupon for a coupon code or discount night. They do offer some but they are mostly during the week. If you have young kids that can miss school this would be your best time to go! When you spend 1 night you get access to the water park the next day as well even though you have to be out of your room. They have large locker rooms where you can change and store stuff as well as needed.
Camping at Eisenhower Park Mel, from the Plano Moms Team, went camping here with her family and had the best time! Come read the post to get more details on what they did and see how much fun they had.
Broken Bow/Beavers Bend I have never been but every year Plano Moms recommend this as a great place to take the family on a fun getaway! Let us know if you’ve been and what you did there! It’s located in Oklahoma about 2.5 hours from Plano. It’s a year-round popular destination with a state park, a lake, river, and many more things to do.
