What are we obsessed with??

Making Friends

So many of us have moved here from somewhere else or are about to move here, or become a new Mom and realized that some of our old friends have fallen on the wayside. There is always room in our lives for more friends, right?

Plano Moms knows this and wants to connect you with your new BFF, so on August 19th from 3pm-6pm, be sure to attend their Mommy Mixer event, which happens every 3 months - for Speed Dating, Wine, Food and Door prizes. Tickets are only $20 and only 74 seats are available.

I’m told that 50% of them are gone already so be quick. The ticket link is here

The Second Obsession, are Moms Groups around Town. Plano Moms has just released a new blog Post with a big list of the local groups for you to check out. Details in the show notes.

Final Obsession - as we love to talk about Food!

A new Taco place has opened - Tacodeli, at Park and Preston. So, go check it out! And let us know in the comments what your favorite Taco place is.

See y’all next week for more! We will be LIVE from a new location – but where???

Hi, I’m Abbie, super mom, and busy-bee who moved to Plano from London, England with my husband and 2 kids, Jesse and Lucy, in the Summer of 2013. Plano Moms was my lifeline when I arrived as I didn’t know anyone or anything about my new city that I now called home. Where did I start to make friends and meet moms like me? How did I know who were the best hairstylists, or dentists or pre-school options for my kids? Which area should I look for to find the right home and school for my son? All these questions were answered by Plano Moms, like me. I found a lifeline in it and chose to build it into the community it is today – 15,000 moms sharing ideas, tips, referrals and making connections with each other through Social Media,, events & regular email newsletters! When I’m not being a Plano Mom or being a taxi service to my kids, I am coaching & consulting local businesses, working out, cooking and reading (when I find the time!)
