Younger children are also encouraged to partake in the fun, although kids 7 and under play for free since they are not considered active participants during the breakout games.

If you are looking for uninterrupted play choose a weekday option, times are busiest when kids are not in school. Things to remember; you will need to reserve ahead of time either online or by phone call, wear comfortable clothes and shoes so you can move and have fun.

You choose your adventure at Activate Plano. Activate has light-up interactive gaming rooms that test you physically and mentally depending on your level of fun.

These games use technology to grasp and engage the participants in a full series of challenges. Recommended ages for play are 10 and up, however younger children are allowed to participate as long as a paid adult joins the fun.

Visiting Monday-Thursday during the morning or afternoon is highly recommended to enjoy small crowds and lower prices! Free lockers are provided for your group and it’s suggested to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toes shoes.

The Activate game experience lasts 75 minutes and grants players unlimited access to all 12 of the games.

Remember, each game requires a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 5 players.

Keep in mind for sensory-sensitive kids: The facility is dark is lit up with LED lights and has occasional loud noises. If you reserve one of their three party lounges, you are welcome to bring in any outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Movement: Climbing, Yoga and Fitness

For your teenagers and family, Movement is a climbing community where everyone is welcome. Improve your strength, flexibility, and coordination while boosting your self-esteem. The lead indoor rock climbing and bouldering facility in Texas features 32,000 square feet of climbing.

Your first visit is free and includes a 15-minute tour of the facility to showcase different ways to climb, work out, and/or join a yoga class.

Renting equipment is required, including harnesses, chalk, and shoes at $11 per package. If looking to book a vertical world experience; your rock climbing session will be led by an experienced instructor priced at $32 per hour.

Available beginner classes include an introduction to bouldering and an introduction to rope climbing.

Hapik Climbing

A colorful indoor climbing experience, where adults and kids can enjoy some healthy, action-packed fun, with rope courses of varying designs and difficulty! Purchase an individual climbing pass under $20 for Up to two hours of climbing or a family pass under $50 for 3 climbers; no equipment or experience is required.

Offering three different levels of difficulty to challenge every climber. For toddlers that are not climbing there is a soft play area pass for purchase, for less than $5! For sensory-sensitive children, they offer a calming climbing session that offers less crowds and a quieter experience.

Home school and after school drop in sessions are available for selection. Walk-ins are accepted, although it’s encouraged to book online, sessions typically last 2 hours.

Weekdays tend to be quieter, while the weekends have a bustling atmosphere. Since it is a physically active experience they recommend attire that allows you to run, jump and move comfortably, walking shoes are strongly advised.

Each game is different but plan to spend about 45 minutes to an hour and a half to fully explore. Purchase 100 points for $25 to play. 100 points will allow 1 player to play several of their thrilling games.

Kid Mania

Taking the child’s play environment and elevating it! This Plano location offers Arcadia Mania games, a Kid Mania Cafe but never topping the infamous Mania Maze.

The maze offers slides, jumps, twists and tunnels for all ages to run wild. This massive maze has over 5 levels, over 25 feet high and 280 feet long!

For those who are 3 or under, they have a “Mini Mania” , a toddlers-only play space.
