Summer of Sculpture:ZimSculpt
This is a chance to see more than 100 hand-selected, important modern sculptures artfully displayed throughout the acclaimed Dallas Arboretum. ZimSculpt features exquisite sculptures of several dozen contemporary Zimbabwean artists displayed throughout the garden.

Christmas in July
Can’t wait for the holidays? Take a photo in a giant snow globe decked in a summer theme that is sure to be your funniest Christmas card yet. Make a Christmas ornament while enjoying the sunshine.

Plano Symphony Orchestra Family Series – Heroes & Villains
What is a great story without a great villain or a hero? Enjoy a chamber ensemble from the Plano Symphony Orchestra as it introduces great characters from Harry Potter, Superman, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, and more! Villains like Ursula in The Little Mermaid or Cruela de Vil in 101 Dalmatians often have great melodies to bring their huge personalities to life! In this 45- minute performance, families with children 2 – 12 will learn about instruments in the orchestra, hear great music, and even participate in the action on stage!

Sensory Friendly Days
Sensory Friendly Day is an exclusive time at Plano’s pools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have a fun, interactive learning experience in a comfortable environment. Cost is regular admission, and participants are welcome to stay once the pool opens to the public.

Sand Castles & Story Time
Join us for a morning of fun and relaxation on the new swim beach at Stewart Creek Park! Storytime, read by your favorite characters (Session 2: Baby Sharks) will run from 9:00 – 10:00am followed by an hour of building sand castles on the beach. Prizes will be awarded each session for the best castles! Registration fee of $5/family includes entry into the park for one vehicle. Raptors Then & Now
Join us as we welcome animal ambassadors from the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. From 1pm-2pm, enjoy a fantastic presentation about “Raptors Now.” Your ticket also includes admission into our Creature Corral, to visit with “Raptors Then” before or after the presentation.

3rd Annual Bastille Day
Bonjour! Join us as we celebrate all things French with a free live performance by La Pompe, fresh crêpes, and St-Germain French 75s! Spend a luxurious Sunday with friends and see all there is to discover, eat, and drink at Legacy Hall in honor of Bastille Day.
