What is happening at the Gaylord Texan Christmas this Holiday Season?
Walk into the Atrium and you are met with 2 million twinkling lights, 15,000 ornaments, and dozens of lavish holiday displays filling the vast hotel atrium.
This is SO.MUCH.CHRISTMAS at the Gaylord Texan – one of the best things to do this Winter
Their restaurants and eateries are open along with their stores, which are filled with local Texan-themed products and gift ideas.
What is there to do at the Gaylord Texan Christmas?
ICE! is back at Gaylord Texan.
The biggest exhibit is Ice! ‘Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
You’ll love the larger-than-life colorful Ice! sculptures and even plunge-down slides made entirely of ice in this Gaylord Hotels original experience.
You can borrow a full-size parka (available in kids’ sizes too) to keep you warm throughout.
Allow 20-40 minutes to experience it fully.

How to Plan Your Visit
On our recent visit this year, we planned to do the activities first and then walk to the Hotel Lobby after lunch.
Our little kids (aged 4 and 7) really loved the gingerbread-making and the Grinch-themed activities the most. We spent hours ice skating too!

They do not have the ability to take money directly on-site but do provide a QR code to get tickets online from your phone, so plan ahead and split up if your kids have different interests in what they want to do.
How long should we allow for our visit to Gaylord Texan Christmas?
If you choose to enjoy most of the attractions and enjoy a meal and drinks, we think this could provide 3-4 hours of entertainment!
Can you visit Gaylord Texan without staying there?
Yes, you can visit for the day or evening, without staying. You can make a real staycation out of it by asking about their overnight Gaylord Texan Christmas packages inclusive of entrance into the immersive pop-up experience.
The hotel is so magical at this time of year. Plan to eat at one of their restaurants and enjoy the various decorated exhibits in the main Gaylord Hotel.

The closest parking lot to So.Much.Christmas is the Convention Center Parking Lot, if you don’t want to walk through the hotel to get to and from your car.
