Hydrous competed in Point Chase Nationals last August in Florida.  Many of the kids in the picture are past campers from Hydrous. Hydrous won third place in Traditional Cable last year. Many of the camp coaches also compete each year. This year’s local Points Chase competition will be held at both parks starting in June. Campers are encouraged to join the competitions. This year campers can compete in the camp division or beginners. Check out www.hyrouswakeparks.com  or www.pointschase.com.

Summer Camps 2017

Springtime is the time to start thinking about summer. I typically schedule our summers with a mix of Full weeks of Day Camps and a few days or even a Week of Family Time or Staycation (we all plan the week & become tourists in the Metroplex). I also plan vacations out of state or even overseas. How do you manage the summer for your family?

Most camps start registration in March, and some are offering early bird deals, so it’s time to research and come up with a plan. We have gathered the most popular questions moms ask before choosing Camps for their kids. Typically, they include:

What is different about your camp to others of the same kind?

What times and days/dates do you offer?

Do you supply snacks, drinks or lunch and if not, what should my child bring?

Where are your camps located?

Will my child be indoor or outdoor? (Texan heat can be a concern, as is a lack of fresh air!)

Who will be looking after my child? Are they licensed? Do they have CPR/First Aid Skills?

What age groups do you take?

What does a typical day look like?

Our Facebook group is full of moms swapping ideas, so here is a list of some of our favorites, by type:
