Get ready to ignite your camper’s creativity at SPARK! Dallas Weekly Summer Camps – the ultimate art adventure! SPARK! Dallas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission to SPARK creativity inherent in all children. Camps are weekly from June 10th to August 2nd.

Every day at Summer Camp, children will be immersed in STEAM-based projects designed to promote out-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, leadership skills, and creative, independent thought. Your camper(s) will explore art rotations while discovering a fun indoor playground. **Before & After-care is available for $5 per camper for each time slot.

Camp is available only for ages 7 to 13

Week 2: 2-D Art – June 17th to June 21st
Portrait Drawing, Landscapes, Watercolor, Colored Pencils, Mixed Media

Week 3: Printmaking – June 24th to June 28th
Stamp Making, Screenprinting pt.1, Screenprinting pt.2, Stencils making, Non-traditional printmaking

Week 4: Comic Book Characters – July 1st to July 3rd and July 5th
Flipbooks, Color wheels, Painting with color wheels, Ode to My Favorite Artist

Week 5: 3-D Art – July 8th to July 12th
Ceramic shapes, Mug glazing, Stained glass insects, Glazing shapes, and Model Magic

Week 6: 2-D Art – July 15th to July 19th

Week 7: Printmaking – July 22nd to July 26th

Daily Camp Hours: 

Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM CT

9 – 10 AM: Before Care For An Extra $5 Per Child

10 – 10:30 AM: Regular Arrival And Free Play Time

10:30 – Noon: Morning Art Rotations; 45 Minutes At Each Station

12 – 12:30 PM: Lunch (Campers Bring Their Own)

12:30 – 1 PM: Free Play Time And/Or Free Draw Time

1 – 2:30 PM: Afternoon Art Rotations; 45 Minutes At Each Station

2:30 – 2:45 PM: Snack Time (SPARK! Provided)

2:45 – 3:30 PM: Group Creative Project

3:30 – 4 PM: Free Play Time And Dismissal

4 – 5 PM: After-Care For An Extra $5 Per Child

Camp Activities & Schedule:

All camp weeks will include instruction in 3-D art, 2-D art, printmaking, comic art, improvisation, storytelling, and creative movement – every week of camp has a designated emphasis area topic.
