As a Work-from-home Mom, I am balancing my workload with entertaining the kids too. I also have visitors from out-of-town so I’m using the time to be a tourist in the city.
What if I told you that for every Dollar I spend on day trips, passes and admission into local places that I could get automatic cash-back on every purchase, without redeeming any coupons and all from my Smartphone?
Sounds good, right?
I recently downloaded a new app, called Dosh. It’s simple.
You connect your payment cards (don’t worry about security, your data is safe!) and you can filter through Hotels & Activities and book right within the app. The pricing is among the best I have seen. For everything I book through the App, I get automatic cash back on my App which I can redeem whenever I like!
Not only that, but every time I take my family to eat out, we get a % cashback on every meal.
Think local places like Dugg Burger or Hash House a Go Go!
And when I need to cool off and let the kids blow off some steam, I can take them to Chuck E Cheese and get a win-win out of it. Let the kids play and eat and I get cash back.
Over the Summer, I will get 5% cash back on purchases over $30!
You have to try it.
When you download it and connect your cards you start earning Dosh straight away. And if you refer your friends you’ll get $5 when they get their first Dosh too.
Are you ready? Get Dosh NOW!

With our busy world today it’s so nice that stores and restaurants are starting to offer more delivery services. We have several around town and some larger on-line companies are using it as well. Save time and shop online! Here are some great choices for delivery services around town.
Kroger Click List: I am new to shopping at Kroger but so far I really like this. It runs like most of the others but they do charge a $4.95 fee for this service. Your first 3 trips are free though so make sure you do at least 3! I haven’t had any issues so far but some items I’ve wanted they’ve been out of so they will sub you with something else. You can also earn your Kroger gas points so this is a great service to me! You shop online and choose your time then go to the store and park in the special parking. You call once you park and say what lane you’re in and they will deliver your stuff to your car. No tips are accepted.
Walmart Grocery Online: Walmart started this service last year and slowly more and more people are trying it. There’s no service fee, but you do have to meet certain total. I think it’s around $30. That is certainly easy to do at Walmart. Stock up on paper products and there’s your $30. If you are new they offer a promo code for first-time customers so make sure you look for that. It works the same sat Kroger where you call and park and tell them which lane and they will bring it out. The Walmart at Spring Creek/75 does this service and they do have nice covered awnings that will make it shaded so it’s nice in the hot summer! No tips are accepted.
Tom Thumb Delivery: This is not a curbside pick up like the others but a delivery service. You can save $20 and get your first delivery free by using the promo code TWENTY at checkout. They have 1-hour delivery windows and you can get same day delivery if you order before 8:30 am.
Amazon Fresh: This is a fairly new service through Amazon. There is a $15 a month fee and a $10 fee if your order is under $40. Amazon Prime members can get the first month free! Fresh groceries delivered to your door!
Do you have a favorite grocery delivery or pick up service you just love? Tell us all about it!
There’s a fun new place that just opened up in near downtown Plano this Spring- Hub Streat. It’s really unique to Plano and has a lot to offer. Hub Streat is the perfect place to enjoy this spring and summer.
Hub Streat is located at 1212 14th Street in East Plano. Its name is a combination of a street and eat- but really consists of much more than an eatery, more of a whole entertainment area! I attended a Mom’s night out last week at Hub Streat and it was so fun and the perfect place for a gathering of friends.
Hub Streat consists of a restaurant with really good looking burgers! Seating inside and a nice bar with plenty of wait staff. There’s also an awesome patio with tons of outdoor seating as well as food trucks. The food trucks rotate so there’s never the same one every night. Keep up with Hub Streat on Facebook to find out what trucks are coming.
Guess what? Hub Streat is totally dog-friendly! Dogs are allowed on the patio outside but check out these rules posted.
The night I was there, there were 3 food trucks and I had a hard time deciding. I went with the taco truck and had the most amazing Baja Fish tacos. They were delish and something I would definitely order and recommend to anyone. The fish tacos ran about $11 for 2.
The menu of drinks was really well rounded. They had tons of different kinds of beer and different but tasty cocktails. The wait staff was great and very accommodating. I went during the evening time and didn’t see many kids but I’ve heard that during the day it’s also very kid-friendly and fun for all ages.
Happy Hour runs Wed-Fri from 4-7p. They are closed on Mondays and open most days from 11am-2am. Check their website for more info.
I can’t wait for my next return to Hub Streat. This would be a great place to take your favorite Dad (a perfect date night!!) or even have a fun girls night out like I did. It’s definitely patio weather time and Hub Streat is your place to go!

Celebrate every day like it’s Taco Tuesday
This Cinco de Mayo, celebrate with 12 party tacos (or party burritos), 2 sides of beans, 2 sides of rice, chips and Bueno’s signature Original Red Sauce made in-house daily – All for only $10.
The thing I think that is really cool for moms is how much food there in a Wholotta Box. It really could feed a family of 4 or 5 or even a sports tea! I am bringing two Wholotta Boxes to my 10-year old son’s basketball game tonight!
Taco Bueno is such a North Texas Tradition. If you are Plano born and bred, you might remember going to the Bueno on Parker and Independence for off-campus lunch during your days at Plano Senior High. I’m sure that may of our moms fondly remember Taco Bueno and now you can pass the tradition of taste along!
I have a $25 gift card for you to try out. Just tag a friend here for your chance to win. We will pick a winner at random and notify you if it’s you!
